We had an amazing time with Lindsey and Elizabeth. There was so much laughter and smiles throughout the entire session. We love to have sessions with friends, they are always able to draw off of each other’s energy. It was nice to have Lindsey and Elizabeth’s moms with us at their session. They themselves have been friends since high school and helped add to the energy.

We first had contact with Grant’s family before we began this year’s senior season. It turns out that Grant’s mom runs the Cal Poly pre-school program where our oldest daughter will be attending in October. We enjoy meeting new clients and finding out that we have a connection with them or with friends of theirs in the community. We started Grant’s senior session at his home in Squire Canyon. It is a beautiful area and a very serene setting.
The second location was down the road in Avila Beach. He works and spends much of his time with friends there, hanging out on beach, climbing the rock walls on the shoreline, or just relaxing atop the Inn of Avila Beach. His close friends have been best buds since elementary school. His friends were able to join us at the end of his session and we were able to capture them together on their turf. All the friends shots were taken long after sunset and I am always amazed at how much we can push our cameras in low light. We had an awesome time photographing Grant and his friends.

Wow. Nice shots. When I had my senior photos taken I had to get a hair cut, buy a fancy dress, and stand in a stuffy little room for hours. These are a refreshing change from the old days! (I did notice that you got a new pair of tennies for the occasion…)

Grant- Love the Lifeguard stand photo as its so classic, and the barn photo because its reminds me of the canyon you live in.. Its amazing that you are a senior this year. I remember our trips to the Old Train Station in Sunol and the Monterey Bay Aquarium like it was yesterday. Thanks for all the times you’ve given up your room so Maggie and I can stay over. Wilson is one of the finest young men we have met and had the privilege to work with. He has been a great SLOHS Senior Rep for us this year. He seems to know just about everyone we photograph. We always have so much fun photographing him. Wilson joined his cousin, CC, during her session and we were able to photograph the two of them together as well as take Wilson’s yearbook portrait. We love photographing friends and family together and Wilson and CC are both. Thanks, Wilson for being such an awesome rep for us. You have made our first year as SLOHS senior portrait photographers a complete success.
