Tasneem | San Luis Obispo High School Senior Portraits

It is wonderful to be able to photograph people in environments in which they are the most comfortable. We had the opportunity to meet Tasneem at her grandfather’s home in Pismo Beach. It was a beautiful setting, and Tasneem fit right in. She is a beautiful girl with the most amazing eyes. She is very dedicated to her religion, showing that dedication through wearing her headscarf. We had a great time discussing her thoughts on the future and where she sees herself after high school. She is looking forward to attending college to become a pediatrician. She will do great working with children as she has such a soft and gentle personality. Thank you Tasneem for allowing us to photograph you.

Yearbook Portraits | San Luis Obispo Senior Portraits

We are having an amazing time photographing so many central coast seniors. We are so happy with the response we have received this summer from all of the seniors, it has by far exceeded our expectations. We are fully booked through September for senior portraits. We will be accepting non-yearbook senior portraits sessions throughout the rest of the school year after October.

Ryan | San Luis Obispo High School Senior Portraits

We had a great time with Ryan. We started his session over by the train station for a more urban look and then we headed over to Meadow Park. There we were able to see an exciting show of athleticism as Ryan demonstrated one of his hobbies, slacklining. He first started slacklining a few years ago, and after some time away from it, he is very excited to get back into it. Slacklining is similar to tight rope walking, except that the rope is much looser (hence the name) and there is a lot more bounce and sway to the line. This area of Meadow Park is the only public area in San Luis designated for slack line walking, so you may be able to see some demonstrations the next time you’re there.

Ryan is looking forward to his senior year. One class he is excited about is astronomy. This is the first year it is being offered at SLO High School in almost 10 years. He is also looking forward to participating in the robotics club at school and entering competitions with the units he builds. We look forward to photographing Ryan again in the Spring for his Senior Experience bonus session.

Wilson | San Luis Obispo High School Senior Portraits

Wilson is one of the finest young men we have met and had the privilege to work with. He has been a great SLOHS Senior Rep for us this year. He seems to know just about everyone we photograph. We always have so much fun photographing him. Wilson joined his cousin, CC, during her session and we were able to photograph the two of them together as well as take Wilson’s yearbook portrait. We love photographing friends and family together and Wilson and CC are both. Thanks, Wilson for being such an awesome rep for us. You have made our first year as SLOHS senior portrait photographers a complete success.

San Luis Obispo High School Senior Rep

Corene | San Luis Obispo High School Senior Portraits

We have known CC and her family since moving to SLO almost 9 years ago. We were excited when she chose us to be her senior portrait photographer. CC became an unofficial senior rep for us when she helped her cousin, Wilson, hand out rep cards last June. She was very excited when I told her that I was upgrading her session to a deluxe session as a thank you for spreading the word about us. Wilson came along too to capture his yearbook image, so we were able to take a few cousin shots. It’s always fun when family or friends come along on a session, it’s even better when they’re both fun and energetic seniors.

Those who know CC, know that she loves to cook, and she brought along some of her favorite aprons to her session. She wants to become a wedding coordinator after high school and help people plan their special day. Who knows, perhaps we’ll have a chance to work with her in the future. Thanks CC for all of your help.

Sydney | San Luis Obispo High School Portraits

Sydney was so enjoyable to photograph. Like many of our seniors, she seems very comfortable in front of the camera. We had a fun time with her, and as always at our sessions, there was a lot of laughter and smiles. We began her session at Railroad Square, which is a location we love to have sessions at because there are a variety of backdrops literally feet away from each other. From brick to metal to natural backgrounds, this place has it all. Sydney wanted her senior portraits to reflect her passion the outdoors and nature. We headed over to Old Edna since we knew all the rustic buildings as well as beautiful flowers and greenery would be exactly what she was looking for. This is another wonderful location that provides a variety of looks, all within walking distance. Thanks, Sydney for letting us photograph you.
