It’s always fun photographing seniors with their families especially before they head off to college. We had a wonderful evening with Ryan and his family in Shell and Pismo Beach. There was an amazing sunset and we were able to capture them enjoying it.

I have been looking forward to meeting this little guy since his parent’s maternity portraits last month. At 5 days new, baby Julian was so alert. While he was awake, he would track my lens with his big brown eyes. We started the session with some lifestyle family portraits. Once we lulled him to sleep, we were able to photograph him in a number of sleeping newborn poses. I absolutely loved photographing this sweet baby. Thanks Alex and Danae for allowing me to capture Julian’s newborn portraits.

Jan and her fun family were a pleasure to photograph this past weekend. Jan was a silent auction winner at the Fiesta by the Sea annual fundraiser for the Assistance League of San Luis Obispo County. Jan serves on the ALSLOC board of directors as the VP of Membership. The Assistance League is a wonderful all-volunteer organization serving families and children through their philanthropic program Operation School Bell, Sue’s Stars and Books for Packs, which helps provide clothing and books to kindergartners-8th graders throughout SLO county. Jan has a beautiful home in the hills of Arroyo Grande and it was the perfect backdrop for her family portraits. Thanks, Hutchinson Family for letting us photograph you. Enjoy!
