We had the privilege of photographing the Montoya family’s portraits earlier this month. We love photographing this fun bunch, with three boys and one more on the way their sessions are always exciting. The boys love trains so we thought that the future location of San Luis Obispo railroad museum would be a wonderful place for their portrait session. I can’t wait to photograph their new baby in about a month.
What a beautiful couple preparing to welcome their baby into the world. We first met Danae at the Birth & Baby Fair back in May and we recently had the pleasure of photographing her maternity session at one of their favorite beaches in Pismo Beach. We had such an amazing time with Danae and Alex and their dog Molly (who is one of the most photogenic dogs we’ve met). You would never guess that Danae is just a few short weeks from her due date, she was simply gorgeous throughout the session. I am very excited and looking forward to photographing Danae’s and Alex’s little boy when he arrives.

We had an amazing time photographing this sweet growing family over the weekend. We met Jennifer a few weeks back at the birth and baby fair and were so happy that we we’re able to capture such a beautiful family at this time. Jennifer is a little over 31 weeks, my favorite time to photograph expectant mothers. Their son, Alex was so fun to interact with. We started their session at Johnson Trail. On the way to the session Alex decided to take a nap, so we let him sleep while I photographed mom and dad. That’s why I love having Trevor along with me on my sessions, it helps to have another person to help with any unexpected situations. We then went to Avila Beach which is a favorite hang out for the family. It was surprisingly windy at the beach, so we found some of the colorful buildings that blocked us from the wind and there we many fun spot for photographs. One of the nearby restaurants had an awesome bubble machine that was perfect for Alex to enjoy. I am really looking forward to seeing Jennifer and Brian in early July for their baby girl’s newborn portraits.

Arya and her family are picture perfect in the slide show of her maternity/family shots. I would love to purchase several for our home. The photogrpher (Kiwi) has terrific instincts and really captured the family looking relaxed and happy. Excellent work!
I had a wonderful time photographing my friend, Arya and her family over the weekend. I love being able to photograph young families and watch them grow over the years. We hoped to have their session at the beach, but the weather wasn’t cooperating, so we did their session at their house and the train station. I can’t wait to photograph their new family addition in a couple of months. Enjoy the sneak peek of their session.
