I have been looking forward to meeting this little guy since his parent’s maternity portraits last month. At 5 days new, baby Julian was so alert. While he was awake, he would track my lens with his big brown eyes. We started the session with some lifestyle family portraits. Once we lulled him to sleep, we were able to photograph him in a number of sleeping newborn poses. I absolutely loved photographing this sweet baby. Thanks Alex and Danae for allowing me to capture Julian’s newborn portraits.

Jan and her fun family were a pleasure to photograph this past weekend. Jan was a silent auction winner at the Fiesta by the Sea annual fundraiser for the Assistance League of San Luis Obispo County. Jan serves on the ALSLOC board of directors as the VP of Membership. The Assistance League is a wonderful all-volunteer organization serving families and children through their philanthropic program Operation School Bell, Sue’s Stars and Books for Packs, which helps provide clothing and books to kindergartners-8th graders throughout SLO county. Jan has a beautiful home in the hills of Arroyo Grande and it was the perfect backdrop for her family portraits. Thanks, Hutchinson Family for letting us photograph you. Enjoy!

Senior season is currently in full swing. Check out seniors site to see what we’ve been up to for the last month. It’s always nice to mix it up during the summer with different types of photography. I first met Jennifer through the Santa Lucia Birth Center and BBRN. We had so much fun photographing her family this last week. They did their session in Pismo Beach. The two oldest kids are in Jr. Lifeguards so this is a very familiar place for them. It is always nice to be able to photograph people in locations that have a lot of meaning to them. Thanks, Everett family for a wonderful session.

Sweet Baby Whitney was a dream to photograph. At 7 days old she was still so sleepy. Jennifer and Brian are amazing hands-on parents and Alex is a very loving big brother. I absolutely love photographing tiny newborns.

We had a wonderful afternoon with this fun family at the beach in Morro Bay. I had the privilege of photographing their son, Noah’s newborn portraits last year. I absolutely love being able to photograph children as they grow. Once again Noah was so adorable and very easy in front of the camera. Halfway through the session he decided to take a catnap and woke up later to continue being his happy and smiling self. Katrina’s brothers joined us for some extended family portraits. Despite the extremely windy day, everyone had a great time and we were able to capture some beautiful images.

That first shot of the family is perfectly captured moment. Noah is a doll–his face is pure joy and sweetness.
Great job once again, we love the picture of Noah and Joe as well as the one of Katrina and her brothers. We can definitely see everyone’s personalities in each photo.
